I’m proud to serve on the board of Friends of Shelby because I love Shelby Park. Shelby Park and Bottoms is a big, beautiful place, It should be easy for everyone to find, navigate, and enjoy, but I also know that for many visitors, especially those new to the park, getting around can be confusing. That’s why I’m  excited about this year’s Great Shelby Giveback campaign.

This year, we aim to raise $50,000—including a $25,000 match—for 

    • Install map kiosks to provide clear entry points and essential information about park routes.

    • Add directional signs along the trails in Shelby Bottoms, making it easier for visitors to find their way.

    • Place informational QR codes throughout the park to offer real-time updates, educational content, and interactive experiences.
