I’m a board member with FOS – an org. making the park better for our whole community! Meg, Áine, Rory and I all enjoy the great trails from bird watching deep in the bottoms, to strolls around the lake and up to the dog park! There are so many opportunities in this Nashville's Centrally located park, with Golf, Frisbee Golf, Tennis, sports fields and Acres of natural bottomlands for Nashville's wildlife to use and be seen. There is so much to do we are focusing this year on way-finding sign. Big signs so from the edges of the park you can see all the Park has to offer and whereto find it, and inside the park so you can safely know right where you are and where to go at every intersection!
These are just a few of the many projects your contributions to friends of Shelby helps make possible. Things like the expansion of nature play, increased accessibility on trials and more benches, repairing shelters after the tornado, and anywhere we can lend a hand.
