The park has been central to my life for the past 11 years. From the point that my wife and I bought our first home right on the greenways, to taking my newborn son on walks through the trails and park, riding our bikes, rollerblading, animal watching and now spending days watchinghing our son and the neighborhoods kids play baseball together. The park has brought much joy and relaxation over the years. So much so that I found myself wanting to give back and help this wonderful place as much as it has helped me and my family.

I am asking for help to raise money during The Great Shelby Giveback to help support this wonderful park. During this 10-day campaign your donation will be matched – dollar for dollar! For Friends of Shelby it is the single biggest individual giving campaign creating a huge impact in the park.

Any amount helps helps our organization make improvements for the entire community to use and enjoy all Shelby has to offer.
