Shelby Park is the anchor of East Nashville, offering something for everyone—ball fields, a golf course, a dog park, Cornelia Fort Airpark, a nature play area for kids, and miles of scenic trails. It’s where our community gathers, unwinds, and connects.

For me, it’s where I run and walk the trails every day with Matt and our dog Henry, bike the greenway, go on walk with friends, and attend some of our favorite events with our neighbors. It’s woven into my everyday life and one of the many reasons I love this neighborhood.

As a board member of Friends of Shelby, I’m proud to support this year’s Great Shelby Giveback, which will make it easier for everyone to explore and enjoy the park. The park is nearly double the size of Central Park and we have so many new visitors enjoying the park. Your donation this year will focus on improved way finding - trailhead maps, directional signage, and QR code info hubs—small but meaningful improvements that will help people navigate all that Shelby has to offer.
